All MiGCSA Members and/or their employees are invited to attend this Chainsaw Safety Training class at Buck's Run Golf Club hosted by MiGCSA Board Member Craig McKinley, Past President Jeff Sweet & Assistant Superintendent Felicia Childs.
The cost for this event is only $35 per day or $70 for both days thanks to the generous support of our Industry Partners.

The instructor is Dustin Brighton, 20 years of professional tree work, Firefighter/ EMT 20 years, Rope Technician , Certified Arborist, Tree Rigging Tech, Instructor for Arboriculture Canada, State of Michigan fire instructor, CPR First Aid instructor, Tree Risk assessment certified arborist & Heavy equipment operator.
Topics to include: Chainsaw safety and Cutting techniques, Statistics of fatalities and injuries, PPE, Chainsaw handling and proper starting, The six step felling process, Limbing and Bucking, Saw Maintenance,
