I’m Max Helmberger, the new Turfgrass Entomology instructor at Michigan State. I’m looking to expand the course's teaching collection, so if anyone encounters the following pests this year and you're reasonably close to Lansing, let me know - I would be interested in collecting specimens.
These are the pests I most need:
Sod webworm (larvae)
Masked chafer (adults or larvae)
Green June beetle (larvae)
And these are some other pests that I could use more of:
Chinch bugs
Cutworms (any species, adults or larvae)
Armyworms (any species, adults or larvae)
