The 2026 Spring Opener was hosted by Golf Course Superintendent Ken Hunt at Pilgrims Run Golf Course on Thursday May 7th. A sold out 86 MiGCSA Members and friends enjoyed a textbook spring day in Michigan with intermittent sunshine on a perfect golf course.
Thank you to Michael Rey, PGA Director of Golf and the entire staff for a great day. The shotgun start went off at 9:00 and the last group was in by 1:30 for awards and industry updates from GCSAA Field Staff Rep Shane Conroy & Dr. Kevin Frank from MSU.
