I am extremely honored to MiGCSA for this scholarship and very grateful to the scholarship committee for watching and reading the applications. Receiving the Heritage Scholarship will take a huge financial burden off of my shoulders and allow for me to continue obtaining my Bachelor's degree in English at Northern Michigan University. I plan to become a published author with my degree, and with the aid of this scholarship, it makes my dreams possible. I truly appreciate all the members and sponsors at MiGCSA that show their support for education. Thank you!

I would like to sincerely thank the MiGCSA Heritage Scholarship committee for selecting me as a recipient of this award. It means a great deal to me to have my hard work and dedication recognized. This scholarship will support me as I attend Grand Valley State University in the fall to study Elementary Education. My goal is to become a teacher and make a positive impact on young students’ lives. I am very grateful for this opportunity and appreciate the support as I continue working toward my future in education.
