The Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association student scholarships have been awarded after interviews with the MiGCSA Scholarship Committee. These awards were presented at the Michigan Turfgrass Conference.
Funding for these scholarships is provided by the sponsors & proceeds from the 2025 Fundraisers.

Isobelle Brasher
I am beyond grateful to be a recipient of the 2026 MiGCSA Scholarship award. The unwaivering support I have received by the MiGCSA throughout my years at MSU has been unmatched and I am so happy to be a part of such a great organization. Seeing this support has proven to me that my hard work is paying off and I have chosen the right career path. I am also very grateful for the financial help as I depend on scholarships to pay for my cost of living. This scholarship has enabled me to work less shifts at my night job, giving me more time for my studies. This also improves my health as these late night shifts take a serious toll on me. This scholarship has also enabled me to expand my horizons at Michigan State University as I now can afford to take a business and culture class in South Africa over spring break. I have very big plans for my future and the support from MiGCSA is helping me get there. I graduate from the 4 year turf program this spring and I plan to work as an equipment manager before going into management. I then plan on moving back to Europe to develop my turf career across the pond while staying connected to my roots in Michigan and the MiGCSA by giving back to these amazing organizations and creating international ties for Michigan State University. |

I am truly honored to receive a scholarship from the Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association. Growing up with a father who is a Michigan superintendent and being involved in MiGCSA events over the years have shaped my passion for the industry. I am excited for the opportunity to work alongside MiGCSA members and help advance the continued growth of the golf industry in Michigan. |
