Join MiGCSA Immediate Past President Doug Hoeh, MiGCSA Board Member Tim Matty along with MiGCSA Members Drew Boike, Matthew Goines, Mark Lauret, Jason Rank, Damon Robinson & Jeff Spreeman for this traditional Northern event with a twist!

This year there will be an 9 hole shotgun start for two person teams on the Threetops Par 3 course.

This event is limited to the first 18 two person teams to register!

This is a Member Only event, you must be logged in to your members only account to register.

The top ten teams will be entered into a big money elimination shootout again on the par three Threetops course immediately after the event scoring is completed.

Teams not making the shootout are welcome and encouraged to spectate. 

Every team making the shootout will win $100. In the shootout teams will be eliminated on each hole until one is remaining. The winning team will be the Tuck Tate Shootout Champions winning $500. The second place team will win $250 the third place team will win $100 and the fourth place team will win $50.

This long-time northern event is named after C.E. Tuck Tate, founding member of the Northern Michigan Turfgrass Managers Association (NMTMA) which was one of the four original Michigan Chapters. During the first two years of the NMTMA, Tuck coordinated communication to the members with a monthly newsletter. He continued editing, publishing, and mailing the monthly newsletter of the Northern Michigan Turf Managers Association for eighteen years, until the format was changed in 1990. Tate continued to support the newsletter as an assistant editor from that time.
