Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Harbor Shores is proudly hosting The KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship May 19th - 26th 2024 and it is our pleasure to invite you to volunteer for this week as we prepare to successfully host another Senior PGA Championship. Preparations for an event of this magnitude are a major undertaking, and we need your assistance in assuring the golf course peaks during this week for the greatest Senior Golfers in the world. The Agronomy team at Harbor Shores is excited for the opportunity again this year, but volunteers will be necessary in ensuring yet another successful Senior PGA Championship.
In extending an invitation to you and or your team to volunteer at this event, we understand the difficult timing of this tournament and the challenges your team faces by sending a volunteer for the week. Currently, we are looking for volunteers to help make this tournament a success. Any help that can be offered though, is greatly appreciated. This week will present a unique opportunity for you or your staff as they will have the chance to experience an exceptional venue, network with peers within the industry from different clubs across the country, and build relationships that will carry on past the week.
-Tournament Week
We ask that all volunteers be present for an orientation meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19th. We will provide dinner for the staff and volunteers at this meeting and hand out room assignments, and uniforms. We will also discuss general info for the week, weekly assignments, and shifts. Volunteers should come prepared to work on Sunday, May 19th after the meeting. Shifts for the week will vary based on weather conditions and necessities of the tournament.
-Housing, Meals and Transportation
With our location, we suggest flying into MDW (Midway airport of Chicago). Shuttles will be provided for those who will need to fly in and out. Hotel rooms, meals, and shuttle services to and from the hotel will be arranged for the week of the tournament. Breakfast and dinner will be provided daily for the duration of the tournament, Monday- Sunday. Lunch will also be provided on Monday and Wednesday for the practice rounds.
-Work attire
During the week of the tournament, we ask that everyone wears Khaki pants or shorts. Four collared golf shirts will be provided for Thursday- Sunday. We ask that for non tournament days, Sunday-Wednesday, a blue collared shirt be worn. Local weather mid-May in Southwest Michigan can vary greatly, cool wet conditions can be expected, please be prepared with appropriate attire to work in unfavorable conditions.

We ask that all forms be filled out and returned by March 29th so we can finalize necessary accommodations.
We understand that you may have prior commitments, club events, or projects. Please respond as soon as possible so we are able to pursue any alternate possibilities.
